fake permissions

give staff permissions that only work through rina.

real discord permissions like ban members or manage roles are dangerous: a compromised staff account can use them directly, outside any bot. fake permissions let a role use rina's commands as if it had the permission, while the role keeps no real permission at all.

,fakepermissions add @mods ban_members, kick_members, moderate_members ,fakepermissions remove @mods ban_members ,fakepermissions list @mods

a role with fake ban_members can run ,ban, but it can't ban from discord's member list. combined with antinuke, this is the safest way to run a staff team.

command rules

dashboard → command rules (or ,disablecmd, ,enablecmd, ,ignore, ,restrictcommand) lets you:

  • disable a command in the whole server or one channel
  • make the bot ignore a channel or member
  • restrict a command to specific roles

role hierarchy

rina can only manage roles below its own highest role and members whose highest role is below rina's. moderators can never act on someone with an equal or higher role, even through fake permissions.
